A native of Stilwell, Dustin developed his work ethic and ability to persevere in the face of adversity on the family farm and earned the Oklahoma FFA Association's coveted State Farmer Degree. He was bit by the political bug as a sophomore in high school after volunteering on a state legislative campaign. That experience helped define his career trajectory and quickly led to his serving on the frontline for the most consequential elections in modern Oklahoma history.

Two decades of managing and consulting political campaigns provided Dustin with vast experience and expertise in the field of advertising and marketing. Starting with the 2000 election through today, he has amassed more than one hundred wins by creating and executing advertising plans totaling millions of dollars. Winning campaigns include local ballot initiatives, school bond, municipal, county, state legislative, statewide, and tribal elections in Oklahoma. He also has the unique experience of leading multiple candidates to victory in the Republic of Palau.

For the past decade, Dustin has served a broad spectrum of clients with complex issues as an award-winning registered lobbyist. Prior to that, he served six years as a director-level staffer for the Oklahoma House of Representatives and holds the distinction of being the youngest Chief Sergeant-at-Arms for a legislative body in US history. This was made possible by virtue of his appointment to that position at age 24 by Speaker Todd Hiett following the historic 2004 election.

For 20 years Dustin was on the staff of Oklahoma American Legion Boys State where he taught the legislative process via a mock legislature to thousands of students. His involvement led to his election as Oklahoma's representative on the National Executive Committee for the Sons of the American Legion. A graduate of the state police academy, Dustin was commissioned as a law enforcement officer for 13 years and remains active in the community as a volunteer and board member for numerous organizations.
